Re: Four different types of cultivators, what's the difference?
I haven't seen any small rocks, though. Every rock I see, no matter what dug it up, has to be picked up with the rock picker. The roller is supposed to push down "small" rocks, but I don't think those exist in the game. You may want to go watch MrSealyP’s video on the subject on YouTube. ...

Less if the field is rolled, though. That seems to make the weeds grow slower.Shintai wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 1:09 pmThe game is already predefined in terms of weeds. 1 growth and you have 50% weeds.TheGazbeard wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 12:59 pm Per the FS22 release notes : shallow cultivators allow weeds to return faster and in more abundance than deep cultivators/ploughs.

Re: Oilseed Radish
Things do have to be done in a specific order, which in most cases makes sense. But I do think that planting a cover crop, then seeding with a fertilizing seeder, should give you two fert steps. Using a fertilizing cultivator, then a fertilizing seeder should also give you two steps, but currently d...

Re: Bag n lift pack issue
New lift attachment for a tractor, or for a telehander? I found that the bale tines were MUCH easier to use with the telehandler, because the bags just fell off the included tool all the time .Rasping rabbit wrote: ↑Thu Jan 24, 2019 11:23 am I find them easier since the update with the new lift attachment

Re: A simulator? No, just a game.
The point isn't realism, the point is the ILLUSION of realism. Enough real elements to sell you on the world, then enough game elements to keep it fun. If this was a true simulator, it would sell maybe a few thousand copies, rather than the one million or more sold so far, and we'd never get another...

Re: Lime storage
And I can't imagine that is the way farmers do it in real life. Don't know much about RL-farming. But I can't imagine, that they fill up the spreader by Standing next to a palet and magically transfering the lime, or seed to the spreader... You don't have to do that in FS either! Or, actually, with...

Re: Crop destruction on harvested cotton / needs lime
Same here, after harvesting cotton, the wheel tracks in the field are brown (which I think means they're in a withered state?) and wont' accept lime.

Re: Need to plow after harvesting sunflower
You can use a subsoiler, they're generally a little faster and wider than ploughs for the same HP requirement.Joepipefitter wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 3:12 am I thought it was cultivating or discing that was required after sunflowers and corn. Not a using a plough.... that is a lot of pain and suffering.

Re: WEEDS WEEDS AND MORE WEEDS
Weeds patern is buggy. Weeds starts growing from top to bottom, but if your neighbor has weeds in his field, you will see weeds in your field too no matter if you used plow and herbicide. I don't. WIth growth on Normal, I only see weeds grow once per harvest. And once I remove them, they don't come...

Re: Any one else hate the sound of machines going so low when u zoom out as much as I do
It's odd that there's such a difference... The Masseys sound good in general, but many tractors have a strangely whiny engine note, like the big Deeres and a few others.bossmanslim wrote: ↑Mon Jan 14, 2019 3:29 pm I find I hate about 1/2 the tractors sounds in general regardless of distance.

Re: Ever been addicted to a certain crop?(no drugs allowed)
I've always liked corn. It's not the most efficient crop, but it just looks so good, and feels so good to harvest. Maybe it's the color? But for money I tend to rotate canola and beans, with the occasional crop of oats for horse food and straw. In FS19, I might have to do some cotton once I can affo...
