do i need to make my own mod folder?

If I do it the same way he did by using the pdlc folder will that mess up something because i was able to right click on the game application and view the show contents folder because whenever i do the "~/Library/Containers/com.focus-home.farmingsim2013/Data" all it says is folder not foun...

It takes me to the library but theres not a farming simulator 2013 folder there.......Thats the problem for some reason that folder is still hidden somewhere i hate to be such a nuissance but im just new to gaming and mods stuff
