web interface doesnt connect remotely

ive started a fs22 server on my vps and ive open the ports required for the web interface to allow it out of the network but for some reason the web interface will not work outside the vps. ive opened 8080 and nothing happened so i changed ports to 1024 with no change. im not sure why its not working
